IOP can specifically address and treat substance abuse, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and bi-polar disorder. The specific approach of IOP is completely customized to the needs of each client, with the overall goal being to help each individual reach long-lasting recovery.
During IOP, clients learn how to identify specific triggers, appropriate coping skills, problem-solving skills, and they learn how to improve their self-awareness while recognizing unhealthy behaviors.
