Krystalle Franz

Krystalle (they/she) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor. As a key member of CRC Institute’s therapeutic team, Krystalle is responsible for providing direct individual and group counseling services within CRC’s outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. Krystalle has prior experience providing outpatient and intensive outpatient services in community mental health and addictions treatment settings. They received their Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology as a distinguished graduate with a specialization in Addictions Treatment. Krystalle uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and harm-reductionist lens, and believes in fostering growth, resilience, and awareness in their clients’ healing and recovery journeys. They help clients achieve authentic change in recovery using a holistic and integrated therapeutic approach, drawing from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting, and Meaning-Centered therapies. Outside of CRC, Krystalle is involved in writing and recording music, mentoring counseling graduate students, and is the Alumni Chair of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Asian Pacific Collective.
